What makes this area so unique is the surrounding views of both the ocean and mountains. Originally built in the 1970s, the development features golf courses, hiking trails, a club house, swimming pools and tennis courts. There are five-communities-in-one for a total of  approximately 300 residences which include both town-homes and single-family residences. There are five single home and town-home communities named The Crown, The Terrace, The Ridge, Stoney Hill and Mountain Crest.
